Due to a PECO electrical upgrade project designed to reduce electrical outages that is currently taking place on Ridley Creek Road part of the Sewer Authority project will be delayed.  The PECO upgrade project will restrict traffic on Ridley Creek Road but will not close the road. PECO expects to have their project completed by March 31.

It is expected that the sewer work on Ridley Creek Road will start when PECO is complete. Ridley Creek road closure signs will be posted with new dates 2 weeks prior to the start of the Sewer Authority's sewer main installation.  The project will begin at Sycamore Mills Road and work south until it is completed.  It is estimated that once the sewer work on Ridley Creek Road starts, the construction between Sycamore Mills Road and Baltimore Pike will take about 6-8 week.  . Residents living along this route will not be denied access to their home at anytime. Any resident living along the route and having specific concerns or questions about the construction should contact Dick Spielman, Project Manager for the Sewer Authority, at 610-566-5376. Residents who use Ridley Creek Road on a regular basis for travel should find an alternate route during this construction. The contractor will be posting an alternate travel route during this closure. Thank you for your patience as this long awaited sewer project begins.
