Did you ever wonder what happens to all that recycling? The staff at
Upper Providence Township visited Blue Mountain, a recycling depository in
Philadelphia, to see first hand how it is all processed. The pictures
say it all! Keep up the great recycling efforts!
April 16th - First Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner/Open House

of their time and energy and share their expertise for the good of the
Township.

January 7, 2008 Council Meeting
Ed Bierling, Councilman for the 4th District, is sworn in with his wife
beside him, to a 2nd term on Council. Judge Lippincott performed the
installation.
Newly elected Councilman for the 2nd District, Fredric Reid, is sworn in
with his wife assisting, by Judge Lippincott.
Alan Mancill, Fire Marshal, addresses Council at their December 13, 2007
meeting. He updated them on fire company issues and
presented the annual Staci Allen Award to Charles Jordon. Mr. Jordon
was selected to receive the award for his dedication and hard work during
Fire Prevention Week. Linda Poole, member of the Rose Tree Fire Co.,
and other members of Rose Tree Fire Co., were on hand to congratulate
Charles upon receipt of his award.
Ed Cashman, Council Chairman, presents a certificate to Bryant Peng, for his
achievement to Eagle Scout. Mr. Cashman, Bryant, his mother and the
