Bulk Waste Items with CFCchlorofluorocarbon)

If you dispose of old carpet/rugs you must cut them up into 3’ or 4’ sections and tie them with twine for easy handling

Fluorescent bulbs may be broken up and placed in the regular trash, or taped together and set out beside the regular trash. If you have a large quantity, it will then be considered hazardous household waste and must be disposed of accordingly.

No Leaf Burning at any time. The Department of Environmental Protection banned leaf burning in 1997.

*Please note that small tree branches/brush and rugs must be bundled and tied for disposal.

*Computers and related equipment will not be picked up with your regular trash. (These items are now collected at Household Hazardous Waste sites on specific dates. Check dates listed in this newsletter)
