TAX LEVY 2008
ORDINANCE NO. 430

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER PROVIDENCE AUTHORIZING A TAX LEVY ON ALL REAL PROPERTY WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP AND FIXING THE TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2008.

THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER PROVIDENCE, DELAWARE COUNTY, PA, DOES HEREBY ENACT AND ORDAIN:

Section I:    That a tax be hereby levied on all real property within Upper Providence Township subject to taxation for the fiscal year 2008 as follows:

Section II:   That the rate for general purposes is the sum of 3.048 mils on each dollar of assessed valuation, or the sum of 3.048 cents on each one hundred dollars of assessed valuation.

Section III:  That any resolution, ordinance, or potion of an ordinance, or resolution in conflict with this ordinance is hereby repealed. 

The Ordinance is available for review in the Office of the Township Manager, 935 N. Providence Road, Media, PA, during regular business hours:  8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
