The following is a list of road closures, detours and delays on streets within the township:

     Aqua Alert - Kirk Lane from N. Ridley Creek to the parking area at W. 3rd Street.  Beginning the week of July 13, 2015 Aqua will be replacing the existing 12-inch cast iron and cement mains.  For complete details click here

     Aqua will be replacing a main as part of their continuing infrastructure improvement program - Beginning the week of July 20, 2015 on the following streets:

    S. Overhill Road (between State Rd. & Winter St. (including Overhill Circle)
    Summer St. (between State Rd & Cherry St.)
    Spring St. (from Summer St. to cul-de-sac)

    Monday, June 22nd, the Winter Street/Autumn Lane storm drainage improvements will begin.  The work will be done by Premier Concrete.


    Work on the SEPTA rail trestle that passes over S. Ridley Creek Road will begin on Monday, June 22, 2015. The construction activity will require intermittent traffic controls which will restrict traffic through the construction area. The road will not be closed; however, motorist’s should be aware that this may delay their ability to travel from Baltimore Pike to Media Station Road. This Media/Elwyn Line Viaduct Rehabilitation Project is being undertaken by SEPTA.  The timeline for the project is summer 2015-fall 2016.  It will include structural repairs and painting.  If you have any questions about this project you can contact Patricia Miller-Evans, SEPTA at 215-580-3609 or
