| UPPER PROVIDENCE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD
The Upper Providence Township Recreation Board consists of seven volunteer members appointed by Township Council to oversee the recreational facilities and programs of the Township. The Recreation Board holds its monthly meeting the 1st Thursday of each month at 7:30 P.M. at the Municipal Building. Meeting schedule for 2009
Members of the Park and Recreation Board include: Kathy Heupler, (district 3) Salvatore Lemole, (district 2) Larry McAlee (district 5) Terek Peterson, (district 1) James Peel (district 4) and Nancy Dunn (district 4) and Lauren LaMonaca (district 5)

The recreational facilities maintained by the Township consist of: Cherry Street Field, (access off of Winter Street), Ray Roche Park, (access off of Providence Rd. to Maple Ave. to First Ave.), Weldon Street Tot Lot, (access off of Orange St. -corner of South Ave. and Weldon Street) Thompson Park (located on Park Avenue, Louis Scott Park, (located on Ridley Creek Road) Berman Park, (39 State Road)
