NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that Township Council of Upper Providence Township, Delaware County, PA, held their rescheduled meeting of February 11, 2010, in conjunction with the February 25, 2010 Council Committees meeting held at 7:30 p.m.,, at the Upper Providence Township Municipal Bldg., 935 N. Providence Rd., Media, PA adopted an Ordinance increasing the realty transfer tax payable to Upper Providence Township on the transfer of real property or an interest therein to one and one-half (1-1/2%) percent.
A full text of the Ordinance is available for review at the Upper Providence Township Bldg., 935 N. Providence Rd., during normal business hours: M-F 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Delaware County Law Library, the offices of this newspaper and the township’s website www.upperprovidence.org.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Upper Providence Township Council
on February 25, 2010 adopted an Ordinance amending Chapter 1270 of the Zoning Code, Flood Plain Overlay District, adding Definitions for Historic Structure, Lowest Floor, New Construction, Recreational Vehicle, Structure, and Substantial Damage; amending Section 1270.07(c)(3)(A) basing Lowest Floor upon National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1988; amending Section 1270.17 identifying the Flood Plain as area subject to the 100 year flood identified as Zone A in the Flood Insurance Study dated November 18, 2009; amending Section 1270.18 adding FE(Special Flood Plain Area); amending Section 1270.22 providing Regulations for Construction in FE Areas; amending Section 1270.23 adding Definitions for Residential Structure and Non-Residential Structures; amending Section 1270.23(d) adding provisions for Space Below Lowest Floor; amending Section 1270.25 providing Flood Proofing Regulations for Construction below Flood Elevation and amending Section 1270.26(h) regarding manufactured homes in FE and FA areas.
