Special Council Meeting - Redistricting

Township Council has opened a public comment period from October 5 until October 26 and potential district maps, census block data, population distribution calculations, and compactness scores can be viewed at wwww.upperprovidence.org.

The township hosted an open house at the Rose Tree Fire Hall, 1275 N. Providence Road, Media, on October 17th from 6:00-8:00pm for the public to view the proposed maps and provide feedback. The open house offered an in-person opportunity for residents to view each potential redistricting map and provide handwritten public comment.  Public comment received at the Open House will be recorded the same as comment submitted through online options. 

A Special Council Meeting is being held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the Upper Providence Township Building.

Upper Providence Township Council typically meets the second Thursday of each month at 7:30pm in Township Council Chambers (935 North Providence Road). Meetings are open to the public and Upper Providence Township residents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
